Invented in Switzerland in 1992 by watchmaking engineer Eric Joray, Vitrocsa redefined architecture by making window frames invisible.
The Story
Vitrocsa has developed an infinite range of custom window systems to meet even the most outlandish of architects' specifications: sliding doors and windows with invisible frames, huge detachable frameless windows, and entire façades which disappear into the air or are hidden in partitions.
The guiding principle? To creatively blend indoors and outdoors. The famous Genevan architect, Andrea Bassi, was the first person to install a Vitrocsa system in a villa. This provided the impetus, and the rest was word-of-mouth. Seduced by the flawlessness and versatility of the products, world-renowned architects lined up to work with Vitrocsa.
The resulting collaborations produced works of breathtaking beauty — from the boxes at the Municipal Stadium of Braga to the top floor of the Maison Dior in Seoul, the premium villas of the Shebara Resort in the Red Sea, and homes designed by Lenny Kravitz and Michael Bay in California.
Vitrocsa now exports its systems to more than 60 countries across five continents. Its products remain best-sellers around the world.

Engineered in Yverdon-les-Bains to watchmaking standards
Vitrocsa is an official member of SWISS LABEL, a recognised symbol of quality, safety and reliability for over a century. All of its micromechanical components and systems are designed in Yverdon-les-Bains in Switzerland by technicians trained to watchmaking standards.
Vitrocsa uses more than one thousand exclusive components in its hidden elements, uprights and closure mechanisms, all produced in the same way as high-end mechanical watch parts. Each part is perfect, ideal for its role, allowing the number of system components to be reduced to a minimum.

From first conversation to lifetime aftercare
Every Vitrocsa project follows the same disciplined process — designed to deliver Swiss-engineered precision without compromise, from specification through to decades of flawless performance.
Consultation
We begin with a detailed conversation about your project — site conditions, architectural intent, performance requirements, and aesthetic goals. Every Vitrocsa system is made to order, so understanding your vision is where precision starts.
Specification
Our technical team translates your requirements into a detailed system specification — selecting the right range (V56, TH+, V32, or 3001), glazing type, track configuration, and finish. You receive full technical drawings and performance data for approval.
Manufacture
Each system is manufactured to watchmaking standards in our Yverdon-les-Bains facility. Every component — over a thousand exclusive parts — is produced and assembled by hand by technicians trained to Swiss micromechanical tolerances.
Installation
Our own trained installers fit every system on site — never subcontracted. We handle the complete installation, from structural preparation through to final commissioning, ensuring the system performs exactly as engineered.
Aftercare
Every Vitrocsa system carries a 10-year guarantee. We provide ongoing maintenance support, spare parts, and technical assistance for the lifetime of the installation — because a minimalist window should perform flawlessly for decades.
